SAAB 9-3SSR The world's fastest SAAB that began its journey from the factory in Trollhättan
SAAB 9-3 Sportsedan 2008 Saab HFV6 (B284L) 3.2L
Background
The idea behind project 9-3SSR was for it to be the fastest SAAB and run on track with a final time below 9.50 seconds, preferably with the standard chassis, as well as to pinpoint the cars weaknesses and developing the B284 engine to handle as much power as possible. 2017-08-13 at Kjula Dragway we managed to reach the goal and got a final time on 9.46 seconds with a speed of 246Km/h.
The goal for 2018 is to reduce the time to 8 seconds.
