Background
SAAB Turbo X was only sold as a limited edition during 2008, 175 out of 2000 cars were sold in Sweden and is a tribute to the SAAB 99 Turbo. The Turbo X is a very special car, with a lot of character and many personal features as well as being SAABs first XWD car with ELSD diff. However, we felt that the car were lacking in effect comparing to the Audi RS and BMW M-models, but this was a pleasant problem to undertake ;-).
The engine were improved by equipping it with forged pistons, H-profile rods, Crank shaft with longer strokeBig cams and a Borg Warner turbo with better intercooler. And now the right prerequisites were in place for the ultimate SAAB!
