ACL performance bearings

The bearings is one of the weaker points in this engine originally. ACL performance bearings are very well suited for engines with high cylinder pressure and rotation speed. On the connection rod bearings we use HX type bearings which has 0,0254mm greater clearance, the main bearings have standard clearance. By increasing the clearance the oil film is improved, thus improving the oils buoyancy so to prevent the bearings from coliding with the crankshaft. One should also be avare of that once the bearing clearance is increased the oil pressure will be decreased, therefore a throughly reconciliation is required before deciding which clearance bearing to choose.
